Capacity Requirement

Hi Experts,

I was trying to work in ECC 6 IDES system. I was calling capacity requirement overview from the project planning board.

I have checked that the internally processed activities have been correctly assigned work centers, duration. The work centers are properly set with formula and do have capacities. The control key and the network header are set to determine capacity requriement....

When I hit the capacity overview button, the system threw me a message

"The work centers entered do not exist or have no capacity(Message: CY161)"

"There are no capacity requirements for the current selection and settings(Message: CY144)"

I do not know what i could have done incorrectly. But I am stuck here and can't proceed. I tried to search some SAP notes. But what I found applied since release 3xx.....

Any suggestions???

Make sure you have specified the amount of Work (not duration) required.  It's directly below the workcenter.  The formula in the workcenter creats capacity requirements and distributes the work over the duration per the formula.

Hi

Open your Project in Project Planning Board

select Edit--> Functionss-->Activate Capacities

After Activating Capicity ,you  can see the capacity overview

Please check whether you have maintained the Capacity Header data under the Capacities tab in transaction CNR2.

There was a capacity data in there also. Still not working .....
