Hi all,

In SXMB_ADM, there is a fucntion to register queues and another one to activate queues.

Can you please tell me what does "activate queues" do? It seems the help document does not talk about this. Thanks!

it is same like any programme. by register you are saving the prog. and by activate you are firing commit to make it ready for utilization.

Hi all,

Thanks for the replies.

I still have some doubt. So when we shut down XI, we deregister the queues. When we start XI, we register the queues, shall we also activate queue after that?

In the past, we have been ignoring the activation queue step and it has been working fine.

So maybe the activation of the queues are automatically done after the registration?

thanks.

Hi,

One time Registration of the Queues is enough. Its not required each and every time.

Even though you don't Activate the Queues also XML messages will run smoothly.
