Cannot run Upgrader in SMD. Cannot find version information

I am receiving the following error when tryign to run the Upgrader in SMD. I have recently upgraded to EHP 1 SP18.

Error during the upgrade to get the current version from ComponentInfoLib

Any ideas? It appears that it cannot find the version information of SMD.

Try note 1172948. It is a set of notes that need to be implemented post upgrade.

Please check proper compatability between LM Service patch which you need to deploy, along with SP18.

Hi,

Have you performed the initial and Basic configuration steps by calling transaction solman_setup?. As a process there is a list of correction notes to be applied.

Please run the Diagnostics self check and fix the issus.
