Dear All,
Is there a standard way to delete the job logs XXXBDCLG, XXXJOBLG for a deleted client XXX, in directory '/sapmnt/<SID>/global', or this could only be done at the OS level ?
Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Best regards.
Reda
Hi Reda,
if there the client is already deleted - the far easiest would be: Just delete the directories on OS level ...

Hallo Reda,
You could try the report RSTS0024 which is designed for deleting 'orphaned' job logs.

Dears,
Thank you very much for your interest.
I ran report RST0043, with the appropriate parameters (I gave the deleted client number : 950), but I received the error :
Check path /usr/sap/PRO/DVEBMGS00/data/950JOBLG
DIR_READ_START SY-SUBRC / ERRNO = 1 / 2 opendir: No such file or directory
The acutal path where the job log exists is :
/usr/sap/PRO/SYS/global/950JOBLG
Is there a way to change the path checked by the program / report ?
Kindly advise.
Best regards.
