Integrated ITS vs. External ITS

Hi,

I install EP 6.0 SP9 on Web AS 6.40 (SAP Netweaver 2004 SR1). I have also upgraded it to EP 6.0 SP16. I do aware that Web AS 6.40 has intergrated ITS. Do I still need to install external ITS because my backend R/3 is R/3 4.7. My browser is IE 6.0.

Any help is much appreciated. Thank you.

Integrated ITS is part of WAS6.40 <b>ABAP engine</b>.

since your backend is 4.7 (runs on WAS6.20), if you need the ITS features you have to go for standalone ITS
