Hi All,
My client is facing the following problem in Billing.
The processing efficiency of ( mass bill print activity) Tcode:EA29 has reduced drastically , the current time taken is much higher (virtually 4 to 5 times) as compared to previous processing speed . For a lot of around 6 to 7 thousand consumers the system was tuned to finish the process in 15 minutes during day time also. Presently since last few days the performance is not the same & its taking around 1.5 hrs to finish the same activity.
Please let me know if you've ever come across a similar situation and the solution to the same.

Some things to check:
1. The application form exit recently changed? New select added?
2. Check the interval times in EA29, is a particualar interval or interval(s) that are causing most of the delay? Could be a particular account (or type of account) that is causing issue.
3. How many selects are there against large tables like DFKKOP?
4. Run a trace while printing a few invoices to see where the delays are.

If spool request is enable, then delete all relevant spools from SP01 and retry.
