Hi,
I have such kind of organization: 1 Purchaser is responsible for 2 Purchasing Group, how to config it in SRM?
Kindly please guide.
Thanks and best regards
Jack
Hi
We can have explicit assignment of purchasers to multiple purchasing groups.
For object type S (position) and infotype 1001, change the value of subtype A491 to 3 in table T77AR (time constraints) in SRM.

Hi Reddy,
Thanks a lot.
I checked but some problems occurred, when I tried to insert a record as:
Object *
Infortype: 1001
Subtype: A491
Time Constraint: 3
The following error occurred:
-
Choose the key from the allowed namespace
Message no. SV019
Diagnosis
You have attempted to create an entry and have used a key which is not in your namespace.
This can cause problems in later upgrades because the entry could be overwritten by an import, or overwrite an existing entry.
Procedure
Check your entry and try to enter a key value from your namespace.
You can display the namespace definition with RDDKOR54.
If you must use the key entered, document your change so that it can be repeated after an upgrade or release change if necessary. If you put the data in a change request, you can export it before an upgrade or release change, and import it again afterwards.

But the prolem is, I could see A491 via the drill-down list, kindly please guide.
Thanks a lot
Jack
Hello Reddy.
A follow-up question.
With this change, a single user should be able to occupy 2 separate positions within the Organization Structure, under 2 Purchasing Groups. Is that correct?
If so, then can they belong to 2 separate Purchasing Organizations. Have u tested that.
Appreciate if u have already tested and it works.
Thanks.
