Error ------No connection to ESR. Only local data are displayed.

Dears,

We are using PI 7.1,Everything was working fine upto just 30 minutes back.

But now we are facing issue in tcode spoxy,While logging it is asking for User Name and Password.Earlier it was not asking for this.

And on clicking on Cancel it is saying :

"No connection to ESR. Only local data are displayed."

On executing report SPROX_CHECK_IFR_RESPONSE it is showing:

Requested Repository is down.

Authentication on Server Failed (Unauthorized:401)

Exception of class CX_SRAPI_USER_NOT_AUTHORIZED

Login onto Enterprise Services Repository was unsuccessful. Server displays following error: Unauthorized:401

Please suggest how to resolve the issue.

Hi

In the application system...check tcode SLDAPICUST

check wheather the user PIAPPLUSER used in SLDAPICUST is locked ?

check wheather any authorisations are removed ?

Check the RFC connections used for Proxy configuration in application system.

According to the Error...the application system is not able to connect to the ESR..

Check for XI Java instance...

check the user/pwd in RFC destination integration_directory_HMI

on the system on which you execute the TCODE SPROXY

Issue Resolved by making the password of PIAPPLUSR similar in both PI and R3 dev system.
