Notes for Approval in change mode

Hi Experts,

We are using SRM 5.0. "Notes for approval" field in shopping cart was appearing in display mode in our system. After we implemented support pack this field become changeable.

I don't know why it was in display mode earlier. If i remember earlier in SRM 4.0 also it was changeable.

Please advise if you are using other SRM versions and this field is changeable or in display mode. Also please advise how we can revert back this field to make it display only.

Hi Raj,

You can set this in customising:

1) Spro-SRM server -Cross appl.setting -Text schema- Define text schema

2) Select "SC" Text schema

3) double click on "Texts for Schema"

4) For the ID "NOTM" at header level, select "Cannot be changed" for the column

"Changeable".

Hopefully this will resolve the issue. I guess that the SAP default was set to allow changes, but there was a bug which was setting this field to display only. There were a couple of notes created for this issue which probably got implemented in your system when you upgraded to a new support package.
