Adobe form error - Invalid Response Code

We have installed Adobe Services on a J2EE 7.0 SP13. When trying to launch an adobe form, we repeatedly get the below exceptions. The form may launch 1 out of 20 times. We have reviewed the adobe installation guide and related notes. We cannot find the cause of this problem. Any ideas????

Hi Stephen,

can you please tell what was the issue with URL as we also get same error message.

we use the correct URL for ADS through Web Dispatcher but the PDF generation fails for large volume data report with same error message as you mentioned , it works good for small data PDF generation. any Idea what could be the reason ?

Thanks !

Hi Stephen,

The requested URL was:"http://aeerpdv1:1081/AdobeDocumentServices/Config?style=document"

That hostname, check to see if it resolves correctly from your ABAP system. It should be changed to the fully qualified domain name of your ADS system which can be done in Visual Admin -> Server -> Services -> Web Services Security -> Web Service Clients -> sap.com -> tcwdpdfobject. Set the URL to custom for the 2 entries(1 entry if non-SSL) under tcwdpdfobject and change the hostname to the full qualified DNS entry you use for your ADS system. Also make sure your ABAP system's RFC is adjusted to use the hostname correctly.

I would also suggest you update to SP20 as SP13 is quite old now.
