Hi Folks, Can anyone pls shed some light on spend analytics. We are in SRM 5, wat are other req to implement Spend Analytics? Where can i find some usefuly tips/guide on implementation and watz de timeframe to implement this reporting tool?
Spend Analytics, or Spend Performance Management (SPM) as its now referred to is an analytical tool for analyzing procurement data. I am the dev architect of this product and can try and answer any question you might have.
SPM comes with a extractor starter kit for ECC, SRM and eSourcing.
This application is based on BW backend and Flex frontend.

I am reading the SPM 2.1 master guide and I dun understand 'SAP BusinessObjects Spend Performance Management is built on SAP NetWeaver BW'? I always thought Spend Analytics are based on BW tech not BO? Why is it named BO now just for marketing? Sorry it just confused me. Thanks.
