Interchangeability APO

Hello,

we maintain some interchangeability groups in APO.

If i do a PP/DS run everything works fine in APO, but i don't see the "DepDmd" from the old material which cover the demand from the new one is not comeing over to R/3.

In R/3 the MD04 for the old materials is empty, should i there not see that the stock is consumed by a demand from the new material?

Hi,

Please see the value maintained for the field 'Use up' in the interchageability group. This field controls how the stock consumption happens.

Use-up Strategy

Indicates the usage of the stock of the product that is currently valid.

Use

There are three options for the possible use:

Yes - The existing stock of the currently valid product can be used up completely.

No - The use-up indicator has no implication.

Restricted - Existing stock of the currently valid product is used depending on Use-up Date and Use-up Quantity.

Also see if the Direction is Full or Forward....

in APO everything is OK.

But i see nothing in R/3 is this normal?

It's equal if i run a PP/DS or a SNP run planning book "9ASNP_PS".

Hi,

As of 4.1 the consumption you can not see in R/3 because EO and EN categories are only APO relevent and not flow to ECC. It is standard only.

I do not know about the higher version.

We do only planning in APO.

Did anyone use this and for which business flow.

Personally I don't think it interfaces back to ECC.
