Process Flow Service Desk to Change Request

Dear All,

After reading SolMan doc and Help.sap.com, I need clarification on my understanding

for following points:

1. The flow process for Service Desk is Service Desk -> Change Request - > Change Document / Correction,

is this correct ?

2. I check on IMG Action, that from Service Desk, it is an automatic create follow up

Change Req doc if we select CREATE CHANGE REQUEST. But I also found that this

Action is not available within Action A1_SDK1_STANDARD which suggested

by SAP (for Service Desk SAP Partner solution). So how to create Change Req then?

Does it need to maintain manual copy control ?

3. From Change Request, we may either select to create Change Document or Correction

(depends on which follow up service is needed). Correction will have Create Transport

Request action while Change Document is only for documentation (development/testing/production).

I refer to SAP SolMan standard functions.

Hi

Yes you are corect from service desk the action is taken CREATE CHANGE DOCUMENT which creates change document followed by change request/correction

check this for

Dear Prakhar,

Thank you for your links.

But those only shows from Change request onwards.

Is there any doc / demo / links that shows creation of Change Request from Service Desk ?

Hi Prakhar,

Thank you for clearing my doubts.

One thing, if you have the information, which Action profile to be used in Service Desk transaction

so that I can find Create Change Request in Service Desk's Action ? I think the SAP Standard

transaction type for service desk (notification) is SLFN and SDCR for Change Request.

Use the SLFN0001_ADVANCED for SLFN

Hi Prakhar,

I am new to Solman, i have a requirement to create customized service request,

Service Desk is Service Desk -> Change/service Request

My format should be looks like below, i have no idea how to create customized service request, so requester can fill it and submit for action..
