How to logon Visual Administrator

Former Member

I need to start the Visual Administrator. I do not understand how/where I execute this command to open VA

\usr\sap\LBD\DVEBMGS00\j2ee\admin\go.bat

I find the file in AL11 but I don't know what to do from there.

Thanks.

Ryan

Hello,

Based on the path I assume this is a system with both an ABAP and a Java stack running on Windows.

Proceed as follows:

- From your PC open a Remote Desktop on the SAP application server

- Log on as LBDADM

- Execute the GO.BAT file shown above

- The Visual Administrator GUI will open

- In the pop-up "Connect to SAP J2EE Engine" mark "Default" and choose "Connect"

- Enter the password of the J2EE_ADMIN user (this was set when the system was installed)

Good luck,

Mark

Hi Boater,

You have to login to OS of you Server with SIDADM user.

Once you login to Os , you have to goto the location which you paste earlier & run go.bat .

Thanks

Hello,

go.bat is for Windows OS ,if your OS is different then you need to execute different command.

For eg for Unix ./go etc...

Hi,

The J2EE engine must be running for you to be able to execute go.bat to access the Visual Administrator.
