I am working with SRM 7.0, and I need to set a standard field like not visible of bus22002 ( BID ). In some case the field price must be not visible and in other case not,
therefore I need to find the way to can define in which case this field will be visible.
Could anybody help me, please?
Manuel
Thanks Robin, but as of SAP SRM 7.0, the following BAdIs are no longer used:
BBP_CUF_BADI
BBP_CUF_BADI_2
BBP_UI_CONTROL_BADI
In the document "SAP SRM 7.0 Migration Guide (2009)" says:
"These BAdIs were used for defining additional screens which displayed extension fields and tables, and
for controlling field meta data, such as visibility and editability. They are replaced by the new extension
field and extension table framework, and the new meta data framework. For a list of BAdIs from SAP
SRM 5.0 or lower that are still valid,,see chapter 8."
Therefore I still have the problem,
Could anybody help me? Thanks
Manuel

Hi Manuel,
You should use the following views/tables for handling the visiblity of fields in SRM 7.0.
You may set it to either visible or enabled for the particular field of BUS2200.
/SAPSRM/V_MDF_HY Customer Meta Data Configuration for Header Fields
/SAPSRM/V_MDF_IY Customer Metadata Configuration of Item Fields

Pavan
Hello Manuel,
I do not have access to SRM 7.0 system, so I cannot specifically tell them.
But it should be possible through
spro --
Supplier Relationship Management under SRM Server
Cross-Application Basic Settings
Extensions and Field Control (Personalization)
Then Configure Field Control --- Dispaly standard metadata tables for Header fields.
The same is mentioned in the migration guide.
Hope this information helps you.
Best Regards,
Pavan
Hi Manuel,
Pl. try the following and check if it works.
Add on entry to the view /sapsrm/v_mdf_hc(or hy) for your obj type and field name with the field properties as you need.
The value in customer view should overwrite the value in standard srm view. I hope this works for you.
Best Regards,
Pavan
I mean that I need to find the way to be able to control the visibility of a standard field.
Thank you
Manuel
