document types in qm module

Hi, Please advise what is the purpose of document types in qm module?also advise the standard documnt types available in qm module?

Hi

Defineation: categorization of documents in document management according to their distinguishing characteristics and the organizational procedures that result from them.

The following criteria are used:

Status processing

Version assignment

Type of number assignment

Internal number range

External number range

The following document types are used by various applications and should not be changed:

Print list

Quality agreement

Technical delivery term

Hi

As this is customization follow

SPRO>Cross Application component>Document Mgt>Control data>Define doc type-->Click on New entry or use copy from existing option.

Hello,

Std documents can be

Q00 - manual

Q01 - Quality agreement MM-PUR

Q02 - delivery terms MM-PUR

Q03 - Quality agreement SD

Q04 - Delivery terms SD

Use CV01n to create documents and it can be fetched using object links. I don't think is there is any object links specific

to quality....normally u can use to attach the document in inspection plan using PRT as there is no object link for Ip's in DMS.
