VDS Installation/ canu00B4t set the scope on a table

Hi,

during the installation of the VDS (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwidmvds71/en/mvd.htm)

"Maintaining data sources --> Configuring a data source --> Configuring the database parameters --> Scope"

i can´t set the scope of any table which are displayed when i push the button "get database". Why it happend?

The connection to the database was successful i use the user mxmc_rt to connect to the Database:

Andreas,

You need to be careful here. If you are attaching to the NW IdM Identity Store, do not specify a tablename. It is preconfigured into the VDS connector.

By writing the Tablename manual in the scope field, accessing the data is possible
