Conversion to unicode--> Vocabulary not filled

Hello,

I have a problem in migration to unicode.

My sistem is SAP R/4 4.7

Below is the steps that I executed:

In tranzaction SPUMG

-reset all scans

-initialized the language list

-initialized the worklist

-ran consistency check

-ran tables without Language info

-ran tables with ambiguous language info

and after ran tables without Language info I expected to have something in Vocabulary, but this is not anything.

I mention, the worklist was only one initiliazed (when I ran the consistency check).

Must be initiliazed at every check, for example when run tables with ambiguos info? Must be this problem which leads to not filling in Vocabulary?

Please guide me,

Thank you.

Florin

Hi Florin,

please have a look at the Button "Monitor" in the system vocabulary view of SPUMG.

There, the number assigned to "total entries" shows the number of words in the vocab.

Please check, if this is 0.

Hi Nils Buerckel,

Thank you for your response.

I have checked what you said, but in the monitor inside vocabulary the total entries is 0.

Hi Florin,

what code page combination do you have ?

Please check content in table TCPDB.

Which Basis Support Package level is installed ?

Did you check the SPUMG Monitor Button (on the initial SPUMG screen) ? There you can see the status of the different scans. if the status is still on initial, then the scans did not run.

Hi Nils Buerckel,

My conversion is MDMP. In table TCPDB I have two codes page --1100 and 1401.

The Basis Suport Pachage is on the level 62. I installed Suport Pachages at this level to follow the conversion guide.

I have checked SPUMG Button Monitor and it status is Initialization Completed.

The all other statuses is completed. (Consistency check, tables without language information, tables with language information, tables with ambiguous information, reprocess)

But in Tables without information and in Tables with ambiguous information I have tables with status "warning" and message type 9 (tables is marked for reprocess). I marked all and started reprocess again, but after jos is finish these is back again with the same status (WARNING).

May this a problem that can conduce in not filing vocabulary?

Thank you,

Regards

Florin

Hi Florin,

no - this is ok - the warning usually means that words were added from the according table to the vocab.

Which languages are used in the system (active languages in SPUMG) ?

Normally there should be at least a couple of thousands words in the vocab ...

Unfortunately I am unable to think about the reason why there are no words in the vocab.

Maybe you should open a customer message with all the info.

Hi Nils Buerckel,

Thank you for your promt response.

Languages that is installed in system is EN, DE and RO

These is active in SPUMG>edit>Language List.

Yes I think will open a customer message to SAP.

Thank you again for your time that you spent in responding me.
