Our /sapmnt/<SID>/global/sld/tmp has lots of large **Delta**.ZIP files. Which is causing space issue in /sapmnt filesystem ? any idea what are these .ZIP files getting generated under SLD ?
Hi
While upgrading CR & CIM contents in SLD , we import .zip files.
Though we import .zip from our local system, a copy of .zip file is created in temp at server location and this zip from temp will be imported in SLD.
The Reason for this Temp file is...If the import in SLD is diconnected from local system...it will continue the import from Temp directory.
These zip files may be found in your SLD temp which is giving space issue in your server.

Hi Mike
It is surprising that ZIP files belonging to SLD would cause a space issue
How much space do they take up?
How many data suppliers are connected to this SLD
How many technical systems or business systems are in the landscape?
How often is the CIM or CR content patched?
Are any other SLDs providing this SLD with data
Best wishes
Stuart

Hi,
those might not be Exported .ZIP files , because exported .zip files can be saved at our local desk and can be re-imported to next environment.
These might be SLD data which needs to be there or CIM data of that SLD, Not sure

Hi,
I guess this might help you,
"For transportation u may choose File level transport or CMS, if u trnasfer through File level it is very easy to maintain and reimport in the production server,, just while exporting from the development server a .TPZ file was created and import this .TPZ file in the production server this gives the entire objects of IR and ID, but when u deal with SLD instead of .tpz there u will be creating .zip file, so u neeed to reimport the file in the production server.."
