BI Portal Login Problem

Hi All,

We need to start BI Portal access. When I try to login into BI portal, it is saying Account is locked.

Can any one help me in this matter?

Hi Charanjit,

1. First of all confrim you have made user master copy from client 001 to you productive client.

2. login to configtool and goto cluster-data --> instance_IDXX -- > server_IDXX --> sevices

in services goto to service com.sap.security.com.ume.service click on the service as said and on right side you have to search KEY :- ume.r3.connection.master.client

change the value from 001 to you productive client

And restart you application .

Above step is mentioned with assumpition that you have done user master copy from client 001 to you productive client.

even if you have done sap_all client copy from 001 to productive client , then also it is ok.

You can change the datasource manually or you can run post installtion template from BI - JAVA NWA

Hi,

You have change the below parameters using visual admin or configt tool.

Before doing this create the user SAPJSF and j2ee_admin and assign the appropriate role

ume.r3.connection.master.client - to the working client you want to use

ume.r3.connection.master.passwd - password for SAPJSF user

ume.r3.connection.master.user - SAPJSF user.

IT is bit confusing ............

Can you describe some more ...

BI is abap+ java stack

BI java stacks UME datasource is BI abap stack.

one more thing you have did completed post installtion part of java side i.e changing the datasource from 001 to you productive client. ( by default java databasource client is 001)

for e.g you login in abap stack with user j2ee_Admin in client 500 of abap stack , but when you try to login to java with username j2ee_admin it is not succesed with same password as , datasoruce of java is client 001

so first change the datasource of client from 500 to 001 of javs stack

after that it should work

Agree with Anil, this is most likely an issue with the UME datasource

you BI is DUAL STACK OR Only JAVA.

We can login into ABAP stack, but when we try with same id for BI portal it is saying "Account is locked".
