material requirment date to be made mandetor and default

Hi,

We are gernerating PR for stock material through CJ20N. When i m attaching a material component, its requirment date comes from activity date, i don t want that, I want that PR requirment date should be made mandatory and by defalult blank,

How can i do this?

As for as I know, That's the standard behavior of the system.

What you can do is, configure in SPRO that your PR should be triggered only when you release the n/w or project.

And release the n/w only when you really need that material.

Lets wait, what others have to say.

Hi Kalpesh,

An Alternate way is you can 'Check' on Manual reqmt date in General Data TAB of the material component. This will allow you to enter the date manually and wont pick the activity dates.

In my system, PR is generated by release of activity only. But its reqirement date comes automatically as start date of activity.

I want that requirement date of material should be entered by user only,thats why i want to make that field compulsory and blank as defalut

not possible by config as suggested

you can either manually set manual indicator and enter date or use offset

alternatively check if exit CNEX0009 can help
