Central Person in SRM not created if a person has 2 user IDs

Hi Gurus,

We are facing the issue with duplicate user Id having same name, different user Id, different personal number and different position. We are using HR organization structure and replicate the same user attributes and Roles to SRM.

In SRM only one central person is being created for the 2 (duplicate) User Ids, after thorough investigation we found that there is a reference personal number link between the 2 personal numbers. If we remove the link it is being replicated to SRM. But as per the HR view that is key business data. We are not able remove the link between the personal numbers.

Any client is using this duplicate user Id concept and replicated from HR system. How they are able to manage this duplicate IDs.

We have raised request to SAP, they are also looking this issue. Please share your thoughts.

Thanks and Regards,

Ramesh

Dear Ramesh,

if you use a replication of HR employee (multiple work assignments (P) of a person, e.g. concurrent employment, global employee) to SRM via ALE (idocs) the business partner integration in SRM will create a single central person and related single business partner covering all position assignments within organizational management.

In this scenario it is recommended to have a single user assignment for the person in HR, means if more than one active work assignment (P) exist in HR only one user should exist at one of the employees (infotype 0105, subtype 0001).

Regards,

Michael
