Workflow Issue

We have BSP application which triggers the workflow. The rules are setup in the workflow. In the rules there are various responsibilities and users mainted. We have multilevel approvers.

The problem is when the requestor sends the workitem to 1st approver the 1st approver gets the mail but the requestor also gets the mail inspite of the user is not mainted in the approver's responsibility. Is anybody face this problem.

Hi Prasanna,

when you say that "requestor also gets the mail", is an email sent out or are you referring to the work item?

Could you also give some more details about the scenario, like is the approver responsible for certain employees, invoices or some other?

The problem itself with these details seems to be in the agent assignment. If the work item goes to people it shouldn't go, first check the responsible agents and try to simulate the rule with data in the container. If the data results in the correct approver (without the requestor), then check if the approver is part of the possible agents defined for the task.
