DataManager Load error

Former Member

Hello

While we open a repository in Data Manager, we receive the following error

"The specified repository is not found on MDM server '3.112.45.85'.

CLIX command reveals that the repository is loaded and running fine.

There was NO recent MDS configuration done on the server.

Unloading/loading the repostiory resolved the problem

However, we were wondering what the root cause could be.

please share your views about this issue, we had encountered.

Thanks

Prakash

Hi Prakash,

The reason might be: 1)With clix command checking, the repository was checked in console thats why it gave the result that the repo is loaded and running. But through data manager, the access is through a different internal port. Ther may be some temporary issue in that port for which you were getting the error.

Check the following -

1) IP Address of the MDM Server. Try with full host server name

2) Use the Data Manager of the same version as the MDM server

3) Whether you are able to open the MDM server with the same IP address using MDM Console and able to see the Repository.

Regards.

Hello Prakash

We have same problem periodically, when start SAP MDM Server.

If you repository have complex structure and many records SAP MDM Server no load it quick.

Wait some time and then connect to repository from DM.

You can check loaded or not repository from SAP MDM Console, when connect to it.
