How to prolong the network timeout

Dear all,

My user network connection is not stable and drop intermittently. The connection managed to recover in a split second, but the gui session get disconnected.

Is there any setting or parameter to configure to prolong the network timeout in SAP ? So that when the network connection drop and reconnected the gui session still intact. Note 62418 doesn't give me much help.

Comment and advice will be appreciated.

You may also want to check the low speed connection from advance options in SAP gui.

Go to SAPGui -> Options -> Increase message server timeout in seconds, the default is 10... maybe set it to 30 to see how it goes.

My user's network connection drop and recover within 3 seconds, since that option already set as 10 seconds in default, do you think changing it to 30 seconds will improve ?
