How to connect MDM or IM with SRM?

We have an SRM with the ECC6 as the backend system.

We want to use MDM or IM as the identity management across the company.

Could you tell us how to configure the connection between MDM (or IM) and SRM/ECC?

Please refer to the technical guides at [https://service.sap.com/installmdm|https://service.sap.com/installmdm], select MDM 7.1 or MDM 5.5 as appropriate, and then consult for example the Scenario Configuration guide.

your question is - Whether MDM can be used to store all Employee Details?

Yes, you have to customize the standard Employee Repository delivered in MDM Business Content and then load the data in this MDM repository.
