All,
does anyone know what the prerequistes are to make a generic extraction of a SAP-Query with rso2? It seems to me that it is not possible to extraxt data when the Query is based on a logical database (the extraction works if the Query is based on simple tables joins). Is this right and are there standard alternatives to get Query data (e.g. function moduls,...)?
thanks

Hi
You can follow the step by step instructions of this doc
to create a generic extractor in RSO2 from table or view
Hope it helps

Ok, how to create a Query extraction is quite clear...what I meant is, where are the limits. When is it not possible to use the query extr. e.g. if the query is a based on a logical database or does the gen. extract. consider calculations made in the query and so on...? If query extraction does not work with complex structures then an alternative is to load it in a table and extract the table...or is there, thats what I'm asking else, an other opportunity?

You could create Generic Extractor using
Using View
Query
Function Module
Or directly from Table
Hope this helps
