JCA Adapter

Can you please guide me how to configure JCA adapter and why this adapter is used in SAP XI?

Hi,

JCA is a framework..that is based on which some things will be build up..and here adapters are built using this framework..

Exactly for which adapter you like to configure and what is the scenario you are trying to do or achieve..

Hi Rajesh,

I have a small doubt regarding this.... In our server i can see the JCA adapter in the list of adapters ie. dropdown list in the configuratin of the communication channel.That is where i am totally confused please guide me reg this...

Hi,

Check the default adapters which will be available in normal..

Even on PI 7.1 there is no adapter as such JCA..but how it is listing in your server makes me dumb..
