RRI ( Report-Report Interface) dynamic target Report selection

Hello Colleagues,

RRI ( Report-Report Interface) :

Is it possible to program a report~report navigation. Which means that if I have 2 Objects as "Type" & "Value" then I would like to dynamically derive the target Report based on the "type".

Eg

Type , Value , Reports

-

---

PurchaseOrder , 100 , PO Master Data

SalesOrder , 209 , SO Master data

....

If type="PurchaseOrder" I navigate to "PO Master Data" report.

Is this possible and how?

Hi Priyadarshi,

Not sure if I completely understand your reqt, but you can assign more than one report as a receiver for one sender query. So based on your sender report, in RSBBS you can assign the PO Master Data report and the SO Master data report both as receivers. In the BEx report then, when you right click > Goto, both these reports will be displayed and you can make the choice here.

Hi Bhanu,

I have linked my report "Inventories Report" with "PO Master Data report" & "SO Master data Reports" in RSBBS . When I query "Inventories Report" & select "GOTO" it shows me both reports but I would like to restrict it here. Based on the Type (PurchaseOrder or SalesOrder) I would like to see only the appropriate report in the "GOTO" option.

Is this possible somehow ?
