Solved: Can MDM access/invoke a Web Service

Hi Forum,

I would like to know whether SAP MDM can access or invoke a web service.

Assume a scenario, where data is to be validated using a third party web service.

If so, how is this achieved?

Dear all,

When processsing the creation of a new business partner.

I would like to add a "search" button to show a list of suggested companies according to the user entries.

# This button will call a custom web service in synchronous mode.

# Then updates will also be transfered by a custom FTP connection in asynchronous mode.

I've already implemented this in SAP ECC (full specific abap code).

How could this be done in SAP Master Data Management, customizing only ?

No, but SAP MDM have own web-services which can use third party application for access to MDM repository
