Error in HTTP Access: IF_HTTP_CLIENT->RECEIVE 1 ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED

Hello Friends ,

I know question related to this might have been posted . But mine is a strange issue.

Everythin was working fine until today morning .

Now all of a sudden , I am getting the below error message .

"Error in HTTP Access: IF_HTTP_CLIENT->RECEIVE 1 ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED "

We had everything setup and working , But when i try to test the connection now in the OAC0 screen, I get the above error message.

Please assist.

please check HTTP coneections through tcode SM59.

thanks , i was able to resolve the issue. I had to restart the content server services.

Hi Raghu,

I have the same problem like you.

Where do you restart the CS services ? On the ECC6 instance or on the Content Server ?

Beacause It works for Central Instance (CI), and not for the Appication Server (AS).
