Hi mates,
I want to know MUST the 'No. of Records' returned from a RSA3 in R/3 be the same with the No of Records in PSA ? (if there are no manipulations ?)
Also, how to I check how many data records has been loaded in the PSA ?
Please advice
John
RSA3 data should match with PSA Data. Please see this link for verification
Hope this helps

Hi John,
Yes. They should be the same as the PSA is nothing but the R/3 extracted data on the BW side without any data transformations. But as AHP said make sure you have calculated the exact no. of records in RSA3 by giving the maximum of data records / calls and display extr. calls.

Hi,
Navigate to your infopackage in BW>double click on it>monitor---> double click on green status (which shows time and no of records) >it displays details of it in the right window>click on 'PSA maintainance' (icon in tool bar)-->a pop up windo will show you number of data pakgs and no records in the pakg.
Hope this helps!

Hi John,
Yes, the nuber of records transferred from R3 should the number of records in PSA.
The number of records in RSA3 gives the number of records collected to be sent in R3.
To know the number of records in PSA, -> RSMO-> CLICK THE 2ND ICON FROM RIGHT(LIKE A COLORED STACK)-> tHIS WILL POP A SCREEN THAT WILL GIVE YOU INFO ON THE NUMBER OF RECORDS. It actually gives total number of packets and number of records in each packet etc.
Hope this helps you..
Thanks,
Raj

hi mate,
should be same, but remember when you try in rsa3
there are data records / calls, and display extr. calls.
you can check how many data records loaded in psa by going to 'monitor' of the request.
hope this helps.

Hi John,
The number of records transferred (shown in monitor screen or in manage screen) is the number of records extracted from r/3.
