Hi,
Which table and field store the default posting period?
Administration > System Initialization > General Settings > Posting Periods
I am using 2004B. Your help is appreciated.
Hi, CK Chua.
OFPR Table, I think.

As far as I know, the default/current posting period is not stored in any table but it only exists as a runtime variable outside the database. Once I tried to find the location of the current period by running a SQL Profiler trace while changing period in the client, but found out that nothing happened in the database.
We have actually faced the same problem with DI API, which sets the current period automatically and does not allow to change it.
Last week I was discussing this issue with a representative from SAP. He said that "in the future the whole concept of current period will disappear from SBO" - whatever that means.
