Dear sap gurus,

i HAVE RELEASED A TRANSPORT REQUEST IN DEVELOPMENT, BUT I SAVED IN THE LOCAL CHANGE REQUEST, BASIS SEND THE MAIL TO CHANGE IT, INORDER TO MOVE TO QUALITY AND PRODUCTION.

PLS LET ME KNOW HOW TO CHANGE IT

Hi Divya,

You cannot do any changes to Released transports.

You can follow these steps to transport your changes to Quality & production.

Method 1

First reverse the configuration you did under that local Transport number.

Then re-configure the same.

When saving, give a new transport number which is not local.

Release it & send it to you basis.

Method 2:

Else you have to use Transport request Merging Method.

Go to SE10.

Enter you User ID

- Select Customizing node & press on "Create New" button

- Give a short description for that transport request & save

- Now you can see the new request is created under u201CModifiableu201D node

- Now to add individual requests to the u201CMerge requestu201D, first select that merge request number & click on "Include Objects" button

- Select the u201CObject lists from multiple requestsu201D option from the popup.

- Press Enter

- Now you can search for your individual requests from the selection screen

- Mark "Released" Tick Box in the selection screen

- Execute it

- To add individual requests to your merge request, click on the individual request, Go to Menu option Edit -> Selection -> Select Sub tree /- or use CTRLSHIFT+ F5 shortcut keys

- Click on "Merge" button

- Press "Online" button

- Release this TR number

- Send merged request number to BASIS

- Check whether Basis is OK with new TR. If they still say they can't, then you have to go with Method 1.

HI

Use SE01, SE10, SE09 use any of this, open your TR, create a new TR give target system as quality system id, include the changes from released TR by click on include button at top (CNTRL + F11). Save it.

Get confirmation from BASIS and release it.
