Asset accounting data extraction problem

Hello All,

When we are trying to extract data for FIAA: Movements(0FI_AA_11) it gives following error.

1. Extraction of 0FI_AA_11 not possible.

2. Extract 0ASSET_AFAB_ATTR first

3. Errors in source system

However we have already extracted data for 0ASSET_AFAB_ATTR.

The order we are following in process chain is as follows.

1. 0ASSET_ATTR_TEXT

2. 0ASSET_AFAB_ATTR

3. 0FI_AA_11

4. 0FI_AA_12

Still problem persists. Please let us know the cause of the problem.

Are they successfully running when you run individually?

If running properly then it might be issue of the sequence otherwise search for OSS notes.

Hello, dear colleages,

I'm on BW4HANA (HANA 2.0). Is there any solution on error "Extraction of 0FI_AA_11 not possible. Extract 0ASSET_AFAB_ATTR first"?

I ran delta loads for these Data Sources in the following order:

1) 0ASSET_ATTR_TEXT (delta data load Aug 12, 2022 at 07:00 AM)

2) 0ASSET_AFAB_ATTR (delta data load Aug 12, 2022 at 05:16 PM )

On the source side BADI FIAA_BW_DELTA_UPDATE was activated Feb 12, 2020.

But I'm still getting an error while load delta to 0FI_AA_11, it is have init and delta data already (the last data from 08 March 2021) and I need to get delta data for the past year no loads.

What am I missing??

I saw that but not sure of the specifics. You said the issue was that u had created full for both 0asset_attr_text and 0asset_Afab_attr.

To correct it what did you use, this sequence from RAM?

0ASSET & 0ASSET___T - Delta

(0ASSET_AFAB_TEXT - Full

0ASSET_AFAB_ATTR - Delta

Attr Change Run

0FI_AA_11 - Delta.

Hi again,

I do not have system access now for the customer. However idea was to do "Init Load" for all the master data sources (ie. 0asset_attr_text and 0asset_Afab_attr) and then subsequently do the "Delta load" via process chain.

And delta info packages for above datasources were included in the process chain to run it successfully each time.

Note: sequence which i used was right from begining (as it was from SAP business content help) only thing i missed was data load mode. (It was full , and it should be Init and then delta subsequently)

Hello Ram , Vijay Kumar,

At last the problem was solved.

Issue was, we have created infopackage of full update for 0asset_attr_text and 0asset_Afab_attr .

After doing init for both of the infosource and loading delta , the same sequence is working perfectly fine.

You may need additional help. Lets see if anyone else picks up the question.

Meanwhile, you can try couple of additional tests.

I am running this sequenc in a Process Chain one after the other. Are you?

I will give the load types that I am running right now:

0ASSET & 0ASSET___T - Delta

(0ASSET_AFAB_TEXT - Full

0ASSET_AFAB_ATTR - Delta

Attr Change Run

0FI_AA_11 - Delta.

I initialized all these loads recently when I created the sequence.

Did you try in DEV or QAS or Sandbox.

If its happening only in PROD, you have to test carefully.

If not, re-initialize the loads in DEV or QAS and test.

Also, lets see if anyone else has any inputs.

Hi Ram, Im having the exact same Issue!!! Could you tell me, I also had AFAB text and AFAB ATTR switched around. When I reinitialise FI AA 11 and FI AA 12 should i also reinitalise the infopackages for the MASter data?

For the FIAA 11 and 12 is it init Without Data transfer and then switch to a delta?

and for master data is it init with data transfer or without?

will try switching the order and try again.!

Tried the sequence mentioned by you inthe process chain, but no success .

All the attribute changes are running succesfully before loading of 0fi_aa_11 . but still the same error persist.

Its showing the same error "Extract 0ASSET_AFAB_ATTR first".

2) 0ASSET_AFAB_TEXT

3) 0ASSET_AFAB_ATTR

4) Attribute Chainge Run

When we tried manually loading data in the following sequence it gives the same error.

1. 0ASSET_ATTR_TEXT

2. 0ASSET_AFAB_ATTR

3. 0FI_AA_11 ( FIAA: Movements )

4. 0FI_AA_12 (Depreciation Posted (Period Value))

Your inputs will be very much helpful.

Hi:

I solved a similar problem for a client.

Follow this sequence manually first. And then let me know if it works.

If it works manually, make sure use Process Chains to schedule this sequence.

1. 0FI_GL_4

General Ledger: line items (if required)

2. 0ASSET_ATTR_TEXT

Asset subnumber (flexible updating)

3. 0ASSET_AFAB

4. 0FI_AA_11

5. 0FI_AA_12
