status management in PCUI?

Hi guys:

I am doing the case management. in the pcui,I want to change the user status!

but in the dropdown list, I can only see the current status, but no other possible next status!

is anybody know where should I modify?

if you are trying to configure your own statuses, try the following:

In customizing, create a new status profile ‘Z_XXX’ in the object type <mention the object>

Maintain the required statuses for the newly created status profile.

Assign the status profile to the required transaction.

thanks, but it is not my problem. I have done those procedure. my problem is that I cannot choose the next status in the PCUI.

E.x, the current status is "open" and I want to set the status to "closed", but I can only see "open" in the dropdown list.

can you help? thanks!

help me with one thing:

when yu select the open status from the drop down, then can you see the next status "closed" in the drop down?

if yes then it could be the sequence problem. we can resolve that.

let me know if I have understood yr problem correctly.

otherwise let me know yr exact requirements, will replicate it step by step.

Hi Rishi:

I made a mistake in last description.

Actually, the current status is OPEN, and only "OPEN" is show in the Status field (dropdown list). I expect to change it to "IN PROCESS" or "Cancel".

BTW, the status profile has been defined correctly!
