Installment plans in SD

Could anybody please guide me about:

Can we create installments for any quotation amount ?

Hi,

Yes,we can set installment plans for any quotation amount.

For this we have to use the "Periodic billing" in our document.

This billing plan type has to be assigned to our item category.

If all these configurations are done,then while creating the order,the billing plan will be enabled and we can use the installments.

Hi

You have to define a new Installment Payment Term with as many installments required.

Then assign the Payment Term to your document at header level/Item level.

When you will create Billing, only one billing document will be created for all the installment but as many installment that many posting lines will take place in Accounting.
