MaxDB Software components

Hi,

we have an application configured with a SapDB old version, and now when i'm going to install the same application with the new MaxDB version, we cannot find MaxDB Software components. Could anyone tell me where can I found it?

Thanks for your response.

But no. I needed SDBINST.exe, SDBUPD.exe, etc. Finally I extrated this from the "maxdb-all-win-32bit-i386-7_7_06_09.exe" like a zip executable.

Well SDBINST and SDBUPD are just installation/upgrade tools.

You might as well use SDBSETUP which provides a GUI to these tools.

The downloads provided in the SCN download section are self-expanding archives - just start them and the unzip is done.

Be aware that if you're about to re-distribute the files, you need to do this with all files together. Not just two of them.

Sure it is...

There's a table headlined : "Complete Software Packages"

And in this table you find the links to the downloads for MaxDB 7.6/7.7 and the platform of your choice.
