We are having a need to assign model to a very large number of PPMs. Any idea how this can be done?
We have tried Mass, Massd, lsmw....but there is no provision for mass model assignment.
Hi Anand,
1) If you are generating the PPM via CIF from R/3 then all the PPMs
will get activated and assign to active model 000 default.
2) In case if you are manually creating PPM directly in APO, then
you can use /sapapo/scc02 transaction.

Anand,
Its the other way around, you are mass assigning PPMs to one or more models. Model maintenance is done in the Supply Chain Engineer /SAPAPO/SCC07.
Open the model in 'change' mode (pencil). Optionally, create a work area.
Select "Production" from the menu at the bottom. Select PPM from the list at the bottom. If there are no objects yet in your work area, add them using the following steps. Right-click on PPM, select 'Add objects to work area".Use the popup to identify and select which PPMs you wish to add to the work area. Optionally, you can save the selection criteria as a 'variant' to be used in the future. Now, hit green checkbox. Wait for the object list to be loaded into your work area.
Now the list can be displayed (all PPMs you wish to add to the model) at the bottom of the screen. Highlight the ones you wish to add to the model. Right click, select "Add to Model".
Save the model. Exit. Done!
This also works for other object types you may wish to mass addto or deletefrom a model.
