Easy DMS with inherited characteristics

Dear All,

We integrating the SAP EDMS on R/3 4.7.

Has anyone some experience to enable functionalities of inheriting characteristics?

For expample:

--> existing Folder (DocType : YYY Project: XYZ Phase: ONE)

--> creating or pasting a document in this folder

--> document get DocType: YYY Project: XYZ Phase: ONE by default

I hope someone has a suitable solution for us.

In Easy DMS documents will inherit the characteristics of the folder they are being created in.

our EDMS didn't inherit characteristics of documents.

How did you customize your system and which version you use?

Hello,

Documents will inherit characteristics while creation only when you have customized Function Module: EASYDMS_GETDOCDEFAULTS orZ_EASYDMS_GETDOCDEFAULTS.
