Movement type 601

Hi,

I want issue materila through delivery with movement type 601, But system automatical picking to the movement type 601 E. how can i change it.

Hi,

The movement type 601 E indicates the stock was taken from the Sales order stock other than the UNRESTRICTED STOCK.

Please check the stock in MMBE, if any speical stock available other thatn Unrestricted stock, if so maintain the stock in unrestricted usage

then create the delivery and check

Hi Kishore,

You movement type is assigned to your Schedule LIne Category.

If you go to VOV6 and go in to your Schedule Line category, you can see Movement type = 601 there.

Now let's see why "E" is coming.

It's because your going with MTO (Make to Stock) That's why you always get 601 E (Delivery with reference to a SO/LI)

If your going with MTS (Make to Stock) you wont see that "E" coming.

MTO / MTS is 2 different concepts in practical world. If your with MTO, you can see SO/LI assignment flowing to PO / Production order / Stock, etc.

But with MTS, you don't have that.

If you don't want to have "E", you have to change the concept your working with.

You have to change your Item Category to "TAN" then assign relevant Sch Line Category.

You should be able to eliminate "E" now.
