ECC 6.0 and PI 7.1 -- SLD registration

Hello Folks,

Our ECC 6.0 and PI 7.1 systems are not in same LAN.

Is it possible to register ECC 6.0 as a technical system in SLD server of PI which do not exist in same LAN. If the same is possible please guide me to relevant configuration doccuments or configuration steps.

RZ70 automatically creates and uses an RFC to the SLD - assuming this RFC can communicate over your network

setup it should work

BTW You can always add a system manually to SLD or from other SLDs content as well - just in case this doesn't work

Hi,

For doing this you will require the public ip for your PI 7.1 server.

This ip can then be given in LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI.

Then run transaction rz70. This shud create technical system in PI 7.1 for your ECC.
