Background Job in Enterprise portal

Hi,

How can we check running background jobs and define a new one in Enterprise portal.

Please give me the path also to check it.

Hi Daniel,

You can schedule background job on SAP AS JAVA ( EP ) using java scheduler.

Yes Ajay ur right we cannot trigger any BG jobs from portal. May be if ur looking for some locks please use the below path

System Administration -->Monitoring(2nd Tab) -->Portal (click to drop down) -->Object locking -->

Hello Daniel,

I think we cannot create the Backgroup jobs ,like SAP Background jobs in Enterprise Portal.

Rather you can schedule tasks in Windows or run scripts in Unix/Solaris etc to perform some tasks.

Never heard of creating SAP backgroud jobs in EP yet.
