How to remove MAXDB

Hi Colleagues.

I want to install MAXDB as a fresh installation. I already had a MAXDB installation which had some issues and I removed it.

I unistalled the MAXDB from my system. But I couldn't remove the serv.exe which is in the folder C:\sapdb\programs\pgm.

How should I remove this file? Im not able to do a fresh installation now.

Hello,

You need to stop the MaxDB X Server with command 'x_server stop'.

If the Xserver is running you will see serv.exe Process on Microsoft Windows server.

Hi

There is a service running based on this exe and I stopped that service and deleted it.

Now it works.
