Dear Suryapampana,
Your answer is right.I can do scheduling on network and WBS elements, what about the Activity and materials.
Is Purchase requisition and production order will consider the Network or WBS date? or We have to maitain the separate date for activity.
Thanks
Ashok

Hi
Generally scheduling is carried out to outline the time required to complete various phases in Project. You can do project scheduling thru CJ29 by using basic dates or forecast dates.

Hi,
The project scheduling can be forward as well as backward scheduling. Tcode CJ20N.
The scheduling is carried out based upon the business requirement and project timelines. The start and end dates are given in the WBS and the forward scheduling is carried out wrt start date and backward scheduling is carried out wrt end date,
Regards,
Uddhab
