how to know if an equipment is the highest in a given functional location..

Hello experts,

Is it possible to know if a certain equipment is the highest for a given location? I checked in transaction IH01 and I am currently doing a report and I would like to know what the highest equipment is since mo logic is based from that. Again, thank you guys and take care!

Guess you can make use of the FM PM_HIERARCHY_CALL.With this FM you can get the location hierarchies for the equipment.From this i suppose you can deduce the highest equipment for a given functional location.Anyway i did not experiment with the other options available in the Importing parameters.Check it out.
