problem in return process

hi guru,

In sales order to billing process assable value of material is Rs. 2341.25.

but if i am creating return order with reference to billing dco assable value is 2641.25.

how can i correct this error.

& where we maintain assable value of material.

Go to VTAF, select your item category for returns for the combination of billing type and return order and see what is maintained for the field "Pricing Type". It should have been "D"

in copy control i have assigned pricing type is D bt still problems is there.assessable value nt copied as it is maintained in stock transfer.bussines process is stock transfer(assble value is 236) then sales from branch to local customer(assable value 236) return order from same customer(assble value is changed)

Hi Colleagues,

Here, the project was implemented 10 years back and till now the processes in system were working fine. But, raised a concern on returns.

During billing assessable value is captured at say 100/- But, if the material is being returned into plant after 1 year or so.....then during goods returns, assessable value at current prices ..say 95/-.

Now the client want to return the stock at same price during original goods issue i.e at 100/- only. Even if goods return 100/- ...then where do difference (5/-) will be posted.

I think it is not possible in standard process in system. To take up this activity with system modification, can we utilize userexits in SD module? If so, can anybody please tell...which include can we consider to do this.

Hi

price difference means it would be change normally, after change if return happens then it will change, go to copy control settings billing type to s.type with item category change pricing type as a Price Unchanged (D) then u will nevert get this problem.
