Hi Gurus,
Can anyone explain me how APO (DP and SNP) works with SKU? Another question: Can I use SNP to plan at SKU level?
Thanks in advance.
BDV
Hi Bruno,
the advantage of planning in SKU level is the possibility to integrate SCM with ECC. With CIF, (Core Interface), you will be able to send all your SKU from ECC and integrate any mrp relevent order
cheers

Hi Bruno,
You can use DP SNP to plan at SKU level. Based upon forecast from DP , sales orders (and other demand elements like STO) the SNP will calculate the net requirements. If your SKU is internally produced then SNP planned orders will be created , if SKU
is externally procured then purchase req will be created.
Master data plays important role, and planning method Heuristics, CTM or Optimizer decide whether you want infinte scheduling or finite, cost based or order based.
