Hi,
We're weighing the possibility to run both IIS and MII (NetWeaver) on the same server.
Are there technical problems preventing such approach? A priori, it should be possible given IIS uses port 80 and NW uses port 50000.
Are their other considerations/prohibitions beyond resource contention on the server?
Thank in advance for sharing you experience and opinions.
Thank you Jeremy,
The reason why we're considering IIS it because it is both our client's preferred technologies and where where we have a base of expertise. This gives IIS a headstart over other technologies so it ought to be considered.
Regards,

With the tcp/ip port distinction It will work just fine (I have a VM instance of Windows 2003 running both 11.5 and 12.0), but my first inclination would be to ask why?
Unless you're doing a bunch of .NET pages, then the WebAS of NetWeaver should be more than sufficient and not require any confusion or cross application server authentication issues, etc.
