Hi,
I need to transport one workbook from Dev To production.
This workbook is already existing in production.
There is only a small change that needs to be implemented
I had done that. Now the relevant roles are ofcourse in prodution system.
I only need to transport workbook nothing else.
I guess i need to use Object Changebility and BEx transport in transport connection but i am not sure..
Any one give me correct way to transport workbook?
I am in BI 7.X
Hi ,
Are you done with your workbook changes in dev , If yes go to transport connect and collect the workbook in a transport request like any normal object .
If you are not able to modify the workbook , Collect the relevant workbook in a transport and assign to the BEx transport .
Do your workbook changes..The changes will be automatically saved in this request.
Do not forget to release this request after changes are done ..otherwise all others BEx changes done by any user will be saved in this request.

Hi,
Goto RSA1, Transport connection.
Select Object types, then workbooks. Select your work book from the info area. Once after selecting transfer. Then select the necessary objects then click on the transport. It will prompt for the transport request. Create one.
Then goto SE01/SE10, release the transport to quality and then to production.
Hope this helps.
